Jane Yolen tells a tender story of a young girls experience with her father during an activity called "Owling". Taking place during a cold snowing late night the girl and her dad take a walk in the moon night. The winter night is viciously cold that it is hard for the young girl to focus on her listening. Pa calls out "Whooo- whoooo-whoooo". Read this poetic story to find out if this young girl gets to hear the sound that she has eagerly been waiting for.
